ABSTRACT
MANUAL TYPE TOBACCO SLIDER DESIGN

This research was conductedin oktober 2021 al the agrucultural engineering laboratory of FTP-UKAW. This study aims to determine the desing of the manual type of tobacco leaf slicer. The use of this research is as a reference information and the use of appropriate tecnologi. The results of this study indecate that structurally and the perfomance of the tool shows that the working capacity of the manual type tobacco leaf slicer is. With a working capacity of 4.748 grams/second, or 17.09 kg/hour. The percentage of unsliced tobacco is 4.98%. and the precentage of weight after being sliced was 95.25%. in the design of this tool using a slicing knife that serves to cut tobacco leafes, the length of the cutting knife is 40 cm. And tobacco leaf material which is cered for 2 days.
