ANALISIS MISKONSEPSI SISWA PADA MATERI BIOLOGI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI SMA NEGERI 8 KUPANG TAHUN AJARAN 2021/2022

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis miskonsepsi siswa pada materi biologi dalam pembelajaran di masa pandemi COVID-19 di SMA Negeri 8 Kupang Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data untuk menganalisis miskonsepsi pada peserta didik dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen three-tier diagnostic tes dengan melibatkan 20 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA. Materi yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi peserta didik yaitu materi sistem peredaran darah yang terdiri dari 10 butir soal. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mencari persentase miskonsepsi dari masing-masing butir soal. Untuk mengetahui persentase peserta didik yang miskonsepsi, paham konsep, paham konsep tapi kurang yakin, dan tidak paham konsep, data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan rumus p=f/n X 100. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan data miskonsepsi peserta didik dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 32,5%, berada pada kategori miskonsepsi sedang. Nilai rata-rata peserta didik yang paham konsep tetapi kurang yakin sebesar 1,5% dan rata-rata peserta didik yang tidak paham konsep sebesar 6,5%. Secara keseluruhan nilai rata-rata peserta didik yang paham konsep lebih besar jika dibandingkan dengan nilai kategori lain yaitu sebesar 59%. Disimpulkan bahwa hasil persentase miskonsepsi peserta didik kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 8 Kupang yang di dapat, dalam penelitian ini berada pada kategori miskonsepsi sedang (31-60= sedang).

ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze students' misconceptions about biology material in learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 8 Kupang for the Academic Year 2021/2022. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques to analyze students' misconceptions were carried out using a three-tier diagnostic test instrument involving 20 students of class XI MIPA. The material used to identify students' misconceptions is the circulatory system material which consists of 10 questions. Data analysis was carried out by finding the percentage of misconceptions from each item. To determine the percentage of students who have misconceptions, understand concepts, understand concepts but are not sure, and do not understand concepts, the data obtained were analyzed using the formula p=f/n X 100. 32.5%, are in the category of moderate misconceptions. The average value of students who understand the concept but are not sure is 1.5% and the average value of students who do not understand the concept is 6.5%. Overall, the average value of students who understand the concept is greater than the value of other categories, which is 59%. It was concluded that the percentage results of students' misconceptions in class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 8 Kupang that were obtained in this study were in the category of moderate misconceptions (31-60 = moderate).
