Isolation and Identification of endophytic fungus on Rhyzophora mangrove leaves stylosa Griffon the beach of Bokonusan Semau

Rhyzophora stylosa Griffis a type of mangrove that can found in almost all mangrove forest, it has very high adaptability by being found in areas with extreme conditions. Rhyzophora stylosa Griffused by community as building materials and firewood and able to treating several diseases such as diarrhea, rheumatism, pain muscles, internal injuries, backache, bonepain, and stop bleeding. The purpose of this study was to isolate and identify endophytic fungi on mangrove leaves Rhyzophora stylosa Griff. This study used survey and experimental methods with sampling using purposive techniques with two treatments. The data was obtained and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively which included macroscopic characteristics as well as from each fungus that was isolated from the young and old leaves of the Rhyzophora stylosa Griff mangrove. The conclusion is there were 9 isolates of microscopic fungi isolated from young leaves and old leaves of mangrove. Rhyzophora stylosa Griff which came from 2 genera namely the genus Trichoderma (3 isolates) Aspergillus (6 isolates) where each had different macroscopic and microscopic characteristics.
