An Analysis on conjunction found of gospel of Mathew in New Testament

ABSTRACT

This research entitles ‘’An Analyasis On Conjunction Found Of Gosphel Of Matthew In New Testament’’. This research problem of this study is,(1) what are the types of conjunction use of Gospel of Matthew in New Testament? (2) What are the dominant types of conjunction of Gospel of Matthew in New Testament? The purpose of this study was investigate (1) the types of conjunction use of Gospel of Matthew in New Testament, (2) to find out the dominant types of conjunction use of Gospel of Matthew in New Testament. Data collection is done by documentation. This is Qualitative data. The main theory used in this paper is the conjunction theory from Murty in Unibi (2019) ‘’ conjunction in english : meaning, types and uses’’. This finding shows 3 types of conjunction proposed by Murty. In Unibi, are Coordinating Conjunction, Subordinating Conjunction and Coorelative Conjunction. Formula to find dominant types P=F/N x100 %, P = The nominal total percentage Dominant types of conjunction, F = The total of Coordinating Conjunction/ Subordinating Conjunction/ Correlative Conjunction, N = The total types of conjunction.The result of this study, there are 3 types of dominan conjunction there are Coordinating conjunction ( 51,27% ), Subordinative conjunction ( 48,28% ) and Coorelative conjunction ( 0,44% ).
