ABSTRACT
A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY ON TEACHER’S READINESS IN IMPLEMENTING INTERNET- BASED TEACHING (INTERACTIVE AND INNOVATIVE) DURING COVID-19 IN SMA ADVENT NUSRA IN ACADEMIC YEAR 2020/2021
Teacher’s readiness is the all condition of a teacher in teaching who overall ready to do the activity.This research aim to describe the ways of teacher’s readiness to implementing internet-based teaching during covid-19. The writer formulated the research question namely how do the teacher’s readiness in implementing internet-based teaching. The data was taken from interview using in-depth interview techniques with the English teacher who teach using internet then the writer transcribed, identified, classified and analyzed the data in conducting this research by using descriptive qualitative method. The result showed that the readiness of the English teacher who is good and ready internet facilities, lesson plan, elektronik media, communicate to parents that learning will be done remotely, prepare some applications that using for learning so availability of facilities or infrastructure that are enough to support the teacher always ready buying internet quota and electronic tools like smart phone and laptop that using in teaching.Besides that the teacher prepared her self to has skill and knowledge. The competence of knowledge and skills of teacher still really need good skills on the using of internet on some media technologies and internet application in teaching at SMA Advent Nusra.
