A Morphological analysis on Kupang Malay Used in Facebook Posts

Abstract
This research and descibe entitled “A MORPHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS ON KUPANG MALAY USED IN FACEBOOK POSTS”. The aims of this research are; 1) to investigate types of morphological process found on language use of Kupang Malay on facebook posts, and 2) to describe the occurrence of the types of morphological process found on language use of Kupang Malay on facebook posts. The data of this research were taken from facebook posts in Kupang Malay Language used by the users of facebook for example: Klau t’bakar api n t’tusuk duri b bsa than The data were collected in form of screenshots and input into table. The investigation was done on the level of morphology where the analysis was focused on the word formation. The result of this research indicated that there are two types of morphological process found on language use of Kupang Malay on facebook posts. They are; 1) inflectional process, and 2) derivational process of morphology. The result of the research also indicated that there are two types of occurrence of the types of morphological process. They are; 1)morphological process involving punctuation, and 2) morphological process using double bound morphemes. Keywords: morphology, inflectional, derivational, morpheme, punctuation
