KUATNANA DISTRICT TTS

Medicinal plants is one of the biodiversity of the archipelago that is inseparable from the life of the community. Utilization of medicinal plant species is one of the habits of the community because the medicinal plants are natural rather than the use of modern medicine. This study aims to determine the Type of Medicinal Plant For Reproductive Health in Kuatnana Sub-district, TTS District. Treatment methods, as well as diseases that have been cured by using medicinal plants by communities in Lakat Village, Tetaf Village and Naukae Village. This research was conducted on January 28 to February 28, 2017. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitative in the form of tables and drawings. Based on the book of Indonesian Medicinal Plants by Setiawan Dalimartha (2008). Data collection was done by observation technique. Based on the results of research conducted in three villages namely Lakat Village, Tetaf Village, and Naukae Village there are 20 types of medicinal plants used are: Acid, Garlic, Beligo, white resin, faloak, Halia, Guava, Kabesak / Pilang, Basil, Pecan, Coconut, Turmeric, Srikaya, Pinang, Pine, Banana, Red Guava, Masi, Makuah, Timu. Plant organs used are roots, tubers, rhizomes, stems, skin, leaves, seeds, and fruit. The way of processing is boiled, chewed, soaked and crushed. While the disease that has been cured of urine stone, vaginal cancer, vaginal discharge.
