Baganadalahsalahsatujenisalattangkap yang digunakannelayanIndonesiauntukmenangkapikanpelagiskecil. Pertama kali diperkenalkanolehnelayanBugis-Makassar sekitartahun 1950- an.Berdasarkancarapengoperasiannya, bagandikelompokankedalamjaringangkat (liftnet), namunkarenamenggunakancahayalampuuntukmengumpulkanikanmakadisebutjug alight fishing(SubanidanBarus, 1989).NTT merupakandaerahkepulauandenganluaswilayahdaratansebesar 47.349,90 km2,Potensilestarisumberdayalaut Nusa Tenggara Timursebesar 388.600 ton/thndenganjumlahhasiltangkapan yang diperbolehkansebesar 80% atau 292.800 ton/tahun. Kota KupangmerupakanIbu Kota dariPropinsi Nusa Tenggara Timurdanmerupakansalahsatu Kota di NTT yang wilayahperairannyasangatcocokbagialattangkapbagantancapuntukberoperasi.Kead aanoseanografidanperubahanikimmerupakanbeberapafaktor yang dapatmempengaruhiketersediaan sumberdayaikandisuatuwilayahperairan.Ketersediaansumberdayadimaksudakanbe rubahseiringdenganperubahanlingkungan, yang menyebabkanikanakanmemilihtempat yang sesuaidengankondisinyadanperubahanitudapatterjadidalamwaktu yang pendekmaupunpanjang. Dengandemikiankeberadaansumberdayaikandalamsuatuwilayahdapatdimanfaatka ndenganmenggunakanteknologipenangkapanikan yang lebih modern.Gunarso (1985) menyatakanbahwaikanakanselalumencaritempat yang sesuaidengansifathidupnya, danbiasanyasuatujenisikanmempunyaisuhu optimum yang khususdengansifatnya. Penelitianinitelahdilaksanakan di Kota Kupang, di 2 lokasiberbedayakniPantaiOesapadanPantaiLasianaselamabulanJuli – Agustus 2016.Metode yang digunakandalampenelitianiniyaitumetodedeskriptifdanobservasi.Pengumpulan data dilakukandenganmenggunakanpengukuranlangsung di lapangandantekniksurvei. Pengukuranlangsung di lapangandilakukanbertujuanuntukmendapatkan data mengenaikeadaansebenarnya di lokasipenelitian.Pengambilansampeldilakukanselama 6 mingguterhadap 4 stasiunpengamatan.Sehinggadiperoleh 24 sampeluntukdiuji.Pengambilan data dilakukanpadasaathauling, data yang di ambilpadasaat hauling yaitu data parameter oseanografisepertiSuhu, Salinitas, KedalamandanArus. TISERA, S. Pi, M.Si, Ph.D and Ir. Bagan is one type of fishing gear used by Indonesian fishermen to catch small pelagic fish. First introduced by the Bugis-Makassar fishermen around the 1950s. Based on the manner of operation, chart grouped into lift nets (liftnet), but because it uses light to gather the fish is also called light fishing (Subani and Barus, 1989). NTT is an archipelago with a land area of 47349.90 km2, sustainable marine resource potential of Nusa Tenggara Timur by 388 600 tonnes /year by the number of allowable catches by 80% or 292 800 tons / year. Kota Kupang is the capital of East Nusa Tenggara province and is one of the cities in NTT which its territorial waters are perfect for fishing gear step on the chart to operate. Oceanographic circumstances and climatechanges are several factors that could affect the availability of fish resources in a territorial waters. The availability of resources is going to change with the changing environment, which causes the fish will choose a place that is in accordance with the conditions and the changes that can occur during short and long term. Thus the existence of fish resources in an area can be utilized by using technology more modern fishing. Gunarso (1985) stated that the fish will always find a place that is appropriate to the nature of his life, and usually a type of fish has a specific optimum temperature with nature.This research has been conducted in Kupang City, in two different locations namely OesapaWaters and LasianaWaters during the month of July-August 2016. The method used in this research is descriptive method and observation. The data collection is done by using direct measurements in the field and survey techniques. Direct measurement of field aims to obtain data on the actual situation on-site sample penelitian.Pengambilan conducted for 6 weeks to 4 observation stations. Thus obtained 24 samples to be tested. Data is collected at the time of hauling, data taken at the time of hauling in that the data of oceanographic parameters such as temperature, salinity, depth and flow. To determine the relationship of oceanographic parameters and catches are also used cobbdouglas analysis. To further make it easy equation analysis cobb douglas transformed into a logarithm that the above equation becomes: LogŶ = a + b1Log x1 + b2Logx2 + b3Logx3+b4Logx4+…….+ bi Logxi
Based on the research showed the following results; Changes oceanographic parameters affect the catches in the waters Oesapa step on the chart and Lasiana. Fishermen Chart highest step on getting caught in the waters of Kota Kupang on temperature parameters; 27oC, depth of 11.20 meters, salinity 31 ‰, and the velocity 0.058 m / sec.
