A Descriptive Studi on the Application of reciprocal Strategy in Efk Classroom of SMP Negeri 4 Kupang School Year of 2016/2017
ABSTRACT
The title of this writing is ‘’A Descriptive Study on the Application of Reciprocal Teaching in Efl Classroom Of Smp N 4 School Year Of 2015/2016’’ The aims of this research is to answer the research problem“what are the reciprocal teaching applied by the teachers in telearning process at SMP N 4 Kupang School Year of 2016/2017.†The method used in this writing is qualitative method. The data research of this resarches is taken from the school SMP N 4 Kupang. The writer collected the data and analyzed the aplication of reciprocal teaching that used by teacher in teaching learning process at SMP N 4 Kupang. In analyzed the Aplication of reciprocal teaching, the writer investigated the types of the aplication of reciprocal strategy. After the writer analyzed, the writer found the types of the aplication of reciprocal strategy that used by teacher in teaching proces are namely; predicting, clarifying, questioning and summrising. For examples in the using of predicting strategy, the teacher give the blank story and the students fill the blank. In the clrifying, the teacher explains the items the text before learning. In the using of prdiction strategy, the teacher ask to the students to predict what will happen on the next story, after the teacher read a parts of the story. In the summarizing, the teacher explain to the students how to summarize the text. The writer expects this writing could be as information to the teacher or reader about the the aplication of reciprocal strategy and the benefits of it in teaching learning process in the school.
